Timmikon

Playable Crew Member

Basic Info
Sex: Male
Age: 10
Origin: "Hyxon" planet (solar system - "Hyx")
Specialization: Close-ranged combat, Fire-based skills, High DPS

Overview (as shown in the game)
Timmikon is a young Coggort known for his hunger for adventure and passion for engineering. He was born with a certain level of curiosity - something the Coggort species lacks. Accidentally, Timikon got too much of it. He won’t stop bombarding his crew with questions and tinkering with the ship’s electronics to engineer cool but oftentimes unnecessary devices. Sometimes, his passion leads to creative technical solutions. Other times, he puts the entire crew in danger. At first glance, he seems careless and views danger as a part of the adventure. In reality, it serves him as escapism from his childhood trauma.

Timmikon was born like an ordinary Coggort - cloned in a Hive manufacturer and had his brain put into a mechanical body. After Timmikon and his friends were diagnosed with “curiosity”, the Coggort Hives considered them a critical threat to their system. They terminated all his friends. Timmikon was about to share their fate, if not for the “Flawed Ones”, a group of renegade Coggorts hiding from the Hives, who rescued him.

Now that Timmikon is free, like all cloned Coggorts, he experiences flashbacks from the original’s memories. Those memories he never lived through tell him of great adventures and amazing engineering achievements. Trying to escape his current life, full of loss and grief, Timmikon hopes to find purpose in following the footsteps of his progeny parent. He joins the pirate crew to travel the galaxy and learn more about his past self.
Sample Dialogue Lines
“Hi there! My name is Timmikon. I don’t know why they left me here. They said they will pick me up later, but I don’t know when later is.”
“Did you know Celestials poop stardust? I wish I could poop too! Sounds so fun!”
“Wait a minute? Ok. 60, 59, 58, 57…”

Isola

Playable Crew Member

Basic Info
Sex: Female
Age: 31
Origin: "The Rock" planet (solar system - "The Cheel")
Specialization: Defense, Resistance, Support

Overview (as shown in the game)
Isola is a human-Glyphen hybrid, blessed with a body covered in stone. When Isola was a human child, her parents took her to the Glyphen world for a vacation. They got high on Cheel, a magical hallucinogenic substance all Glyphens are born from, left to wander the galaxy in search of purpose, and forgot Isola on the planet. Thus, Isola was raised by Glyphens parents - Stonefather and Glyphmother. The continuous exposure to Cheel changed her forever. It transformed her body and granted her the ability to wield the power of stone as a weapon.
Isola grew up among Glyphens and other human-Glyphen hybrids, all caring about one thing - to get high on Cheel. As long as her new Glyphens parents were together, they held the community in check. But when they parted ways, they left Isola as the only responsible adult in her community. She would often mediate their brawls, prevent them from getting lost, and regulate the amount of Cheel they consume.

Alas, being a “protective mother” for her peers takes a toll on Isola and makes her feel lonely. As soon as a new hostile force starts threatening all Glyphens, Isola realizes she can no longer handle it. She joins the pirate crew to find her Stonefather and Glyphmother and bring them back together. Only then, she believes, Glyphens will be strong enough to face their existential threat.
Sample Dialogue Lines
“You will never find purpose in distant stars, my dear. It is always closer than you think.”
“Why eat alone in the control room, Sam? Join the rest of us on the deck!”
“Knock it off, or I’ll drop you off at the nearest asteroid!”

Anatida

Playable Crew Member

Basic Info
Sex: Female
Age: 35
Origin: "Fowlhaven" planet (solar system - "Swan Eye")
Specialization: Long-ranged combat, Assault trained ducks

Overview (as shown in the game)
A seasoned sailor and a devoted acolyte of the Mallard Order, specialized in training ducks. By her command, a flock of battle ducks swarms an enemy ship and covers it in poo, leaving its crew completely helpless. But despite her unyielding devotion to the Order, Anatida is not very popular among her kin. Many find her difficult and uncompromising, mostly due to her dislike of small talk. Quite often, Anatida prefers the company of ducks over human beings. Ducks are objective-driven - they do what needs to be done for the good of the flock, without ego or personal gain. And so does Anatida.

Anatida comes from a family of duck hunters. Her parents used to capture ducks from Fowlhaven, a planet inhabited by ducks, and sell them for food. One day, Anatida ended up stranded in Fowlhaven. Mallards, the local tribes of duck worshipers, saved her and let her

stay until she repaired her ship to return home. But after living among the tribes for a while, Anatida realized how foul was her family business. Renouncing her old life, she pledged loyalty to the Mallard Order and swore to protect ducks with her life. But even years after her fateful decision, Anatida still can’t let go of her past guilt and feels undeserving of her place in the tribe.
Sample Dialogue Lines
“Got issues with my duck hat? Because wearing a colander is better?”
“Did you study all the 43 Mallard dialects to tell me how ducks feel about your decision?”
“What do YOU know about guilt? I gave my life to protect ducks. I failed.”

Joe O'Brien

NPC, Main Quest giver

Basic Info
Sex: Male
Age: 68
Origin: "Tortuga Alpha" planet (solar system - "Devil's Iris")

Overview (as shown in the game)
“If ye’re hanging out with shitty friends, don’t be surprised why ye stink!”, the old pirate Joe used to say. Old Joe runs a space pirate hub, a safe haven for pirates who want to make a living using their piracy skills without being persecuted by the authorities. He made a deal with the Galactic Federation – the Federation would not prosecute any of the pirates from Joe’s Haven, while Joe made sure his people steered clear of the Federation trade routes.

Joe O’Brien served as a cannoneer in the Federation Navy. One day, he followed an order from his impulsive captain and fired at a Dominion ship. The captain thought the Dominion ship was about to attack them and ordered Joe to attack first. This incident almost escalated into an open war with the Dominion. During the investigation, the officer denied responsibility and blamed Joe for it. When the Federation authorities set out to arrest Joe, he escaped their clutches and eventually resorted to piracy for years to come.
Joe O’Brien learned a lot throughout his difficult life and prefers to stay out of trouble. He doesn’t welcome pirates who don’t follow his rules. Despite that, he wouldn’t turn his back on people in need. He would rather help those who don’t deserve it than not help those who do. As such, his ties with Captain Moreguns never stop getting him in trouble.
Sample Dialogue Lines
“If ye’re hanging out with shitty friends, don’t be surprised why ye stink!”
“If you break it, you better be buying it ‘coz that shit was really hard to come by.”
“Is that rum?! We do not accept illegal commodities here!! (whispers) I’ll give you a discount if you roll a barrel to my quarters.”

NPC, Vendor, Ship upgrades

Basic Info
Sex: Female
Age: 75
Origin: "Stygion" planet (solar system - "Borealis")

Overview (as shown in the game)
Baba Savvy is a tech-savvy grandma who has been running the pirate-hub shipyards for decades, offering ship repair and upgrade services. Despite her ripe age, she is quite a strong and capable grandma, always up to date with new technologies. Having lived a very intriguing life, she seems like she is wise enough to know how to fix not just ships but their owners as well. Baba Savvy has a lot of stories to share but rarely does so. Her real name is unknown, and she prefers to keep it that way.

During the Great Galaxy War, when the human-supremacist Empire of the Holy Lance sought to cleanse the galaxy of non-human species, Baba Savvy gave shelter to a Coggort. That Coggort taught her engineering, and the two became close friends. Even more than just friends. However, one bright day, her friend disappeared, and Baba Savvy hasn’t seen her ever since. Many years later, she still hopes to find her. Or at least learn what befell her.

Sample Dialogue Lines
“Hey, be gentle with that shifter! Is this how you treat your lady?”
